Someone commented just yesterday that everyone gardens in Maseru. My response was simple- Sunday the grocery store had celery for the first time in three months, but didn't have broccoli, tomatoes, carrots or cabbage. If you want veggies (or "veg" as they say here), then you must grow them yourself.
Teddy likes gardening and he loves supervising. Here Abuti Teddy helps Ntate dig the garden. I paid Ntate R600 to dig the garden, the large flower bed, and set a stone walkway around the house. R600 is about $75.
