The Maguire family is allergic to Pretoria. In our week there we had concurrent stomach bugs, fevers, allergic reactions, and all around grumpiness. We did make it out of the apartment a couple of times. One of those times was extra special to me. Soft ice cream always reminds me of vacation. Vacations as a kid always involved a boardwalk, Mack and Manco, and Kohr Bros. So this vacation was not complete without a little soft serve, sick kids and all.
